This is as close to kayaking that these two will get for a while

Happy Birthday to you!! We celebrated Rodney's birthday on March 27th - his twin sister Heather joined us as well which was a real treat! The birthday boy selected ice cream sandwiches instead of a cake...yummy!
Last week Carter got to be the VIP for the day in his preschool class. He brought snack, brought a special show-n-tell (whale stuff-his new favorite), brought mom and sister as his guest and got to pretty much rule the class most of the morning. VIP days are sure fun! 
We had a hail storm one day this week and Carter thought that it was pretty funny. It was the size of a baby peas and it sure did make a lot of noise.
Ellyson is so funny when she has to go "#2". She tenses up, makes a funny face and lets out a little grunt. Since she is now eating solids it is becoming more of a regular thing so, today I heard the grunt and turned around to catch this silly little face. Poor little thing - hmm, maybe I should try giving her more prunes next next! Notice her hands in a position of either prayer or pleading.
I know that this is not very nice to create embarrassing memories for you kids, but it is too cute and some day I think she will laugh at it! 
Carter saw the camera out and just wanted a picture of his favorite toys. This week it is "Rocket" and "Kellen" his new dragon (thanks Aunt Mandi).
